Last updated: October 5, 2026

Your Instagram stats

(Likes + comments + saves + shares) ÷ reach × 100, averaged over recent posts.

Extras the brand wants

Instagram Reel

₹2,000

Range ₹1,600 – ₹2,400

One Reel posted on your account.

Story frame

₹600

Range ₹500 – ₹700

≈30% of the Reel price, per frame.

Static post / carousel

₹1,100

Range ₹850 – ₹1,300

≈55% of the Reel price.

How this estimate was calculated

  • Profile size: Micro creator (10K–50K)
  • Average views per Reel: 5,000 (42% of your follower count)
  • Base price: ₹300 per 1,000 average views
  • Engagement multiplier: ×1.2 · Niche multiplier (Food): ×1.1

Reel = (avg views ÷ 1,000) × ₹300 × engagement × niche × (1 + extras)

Estimates are illustrative and based on the assumptions shown above, not guaranteed market rates. Your final price depends on deliverables, usage rights, timelines and what you and the brand agree.

How to use the calculator

  1. Followers: your current Instagram follower count.
  2. Reel views (last 30 days): the total views on Reels you posted in the last 30 days, from Insights in your Professional Dashboard.
  3. Reels posted: how many Reels those views came from. The calculator divides views by Reels to get your average views per Reel.
  4. Engagement rate: (likes + comments + saves + shares) ÷ reach × 100, averaged over recent posts.
  5. Niche and extras: pick the niche closest to your content and tick any extras the brand has asked for, such as paid ad usage or exclusivity.

The method behind the estimate

We publish the full formula so you can check it, adjust it and explain your price to a brand:

Reel price = (average views per Reel ÷ 1,000) × ₹300 × engagement multiplier × niche multiplier × (1 + extras)

  • Base price: ₹300 per 1,000 average Reel views. This is an assumption chosen for illustration, not an industry benchmark.
  • Engagement multiplier: below 1% = ×0.8, 1–3% = ×1.0, 3–6% = ×1.2, 6% and above = ×1.4. Higher engagement usually means a more attentive audience.
  • Niche multiplier: lifestyle and entertainment ×1.0; food, beauty, fashion and fitness ×1.1; finance, tech, education and B2B ×1.3, because brands in these categories often place a higher value on each viewer.
  • Formats: a Story frame is about 30% of the Reel price and a static post or carousel about 55%.
  • Extras: paid ad usage for three months +40%, category exclusivity +30%, rush delivery +25%.
  • Range: we show ±20% around the estimate, rounded to sensible quoting steps, because real prices vary.

What the calculator can't see

A formula only knows your numbers. Before you quote, also think about:

  • Production effort: scripting, shooting, editing, locations and props. Set a minimum fee that covers your time.
  • Usage rights: a brand running your Reel as an ad for months gets far more value than a single organic post.
  • Audience fit: if your audience matches the brand's customer exactly (for example, the same city or age group), you can justify a higher price.
  • Revisions and timelines: agree the number of revision rounds and the posting date up front.
  • Payment terms: agree the amount, any advance and the due date in writing. Our guide to payment terms and contracts explains what to include.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the calculator use views instead of followers?

Brands pay for people who actually see the content. Two creators with the same follower count can have very different reach, so average Reel views are a better starting point. Followers are used to show your profile size and how much of your audience your Reels reach.

How do I find my Reel views and engagement rate?

Open Instagram’s Professional Dashboard, go to Insights and set the range to the last 30 days. Add up the views on the Reels you posted in that period. For engagement, add likes, comments, saves and shares on a post, divide by its reach and multiply by 100, then average this over several recent posts.

Is the estimate what brands will pay?

No. It is a starting point based on a transparent formula and illustrative assumptions. The final price depends on the brief, deliverables, usage rights, exclusivity, timelines, your experience and the brand’s budget, and is agreed directly between you and the brand.

Should Stories and posts cost less than a Reel?

Usually, yes. Stories disappear after 24 hours and are mostly seen by existing followers, and static posts take less production effort than a Reel. The calculator prices a Story frame at about 30% and a static post at about 55% of the Reel price. Adjust these if your Stories or carousels perform unusually well.

Does Kollabary take a cut of my brand deal?

No. Kollabary does not hold or process payments between brands and creators and takes no commission. You and the brand agree and settle the fee directly.
